The Spaceland Swoop Park™ is the home of the 2009, 2010 & 2011 USPA National Canopy Piloting Championships! The Swoop Park™ is also the new home of the Pro Swooping Tour™ and the Canopy Piloting Circuit™ championships!

The Spaceland Swoop Park™ was built with the future in mind. The pond is the largest man-made swoop pond in the country (world) with all the logistical support canopy pilots need to train, compete and demonstrate. With the support and consulting of Jim Slaton and the Pro Swooping Tour we have built the Swoop Park™ of tomorrow...today.

Swoop ponds must be large enough to provide a safety net for most approaches and any miscalculations. It should also be large enough to hold all the competition courses at the same time. Bigger ponds have more advantages and swoopers are always pushing the limits of the ram-air canopy. One day 300ft long pond is big enough and the next day tens of thousands of dollars have to be spent to increase its size. The Spaceland Swoop Park™ was designed with this in mind measuring a whopping 500ft X 250ft!

Having a swoop pond is not enough. Canopy pilots need a venue with logistical support and amenities. The Spaceland Swoop Park™ has just that with all its own courses which are marked out and in position ready for your training. The Spaceland Swoop Park™ has its own building that houses all the park’s course equipment, judging and training rooms with power. The park also features large recirculation pumps that form fountains creating a cleaner pond and awesome photo opportunities!
